You may think that we’re happy to stop there… but instead we’re continuing to look higher and our aim is to become the best in the industry and rival giants like Apple, Google and Amazon! 📈 To do that we naturally need to grow (Picture related) and we’re growing a lot in the EU currently 🇪🇺 I’m currently hiring for a number of roles, but here is a small snippet of some of the ones I’m actively focused on right now: Frontend Engineer (Vue) - 100% remote from anywhere in Europe https://lnkd.in/eiufdkCM Backend Engineer (Java/Springboot) - 100% remote from anywhere in Europe (I’m also hiring backend engineer in Latin America 👀 ) https://lnkd.in/gC5HmNRY Product Director - 100% remote from anywhere in Europe https://lnkd.in/eNAbJCp5 This naturally isn’t everything we’re hiring for with our ambitious goals, so if the above roles aren’t right for you, there might be another role you’d be perfect for on our careers page: https://lnkd.in/emPA3p54#sportybet#sporty#igaming#java#vue#product#hiring#remote

- Report this post And so a mighty journey begins… The last few years have been an interesting time for us in the Risk and Trading Tech space in FanDuel. Across the board we had a whole heap of wins, getting lots of new #product out the door and hopefully delighting our #customers. One of the things it has exposed to us is just how complex this market is and this manifests itself by presenting a bunch of new and interesting problems that we need to try and solve. To help try and protect FanDuel from some of these unique problems, we have decided that we are going to spin up a BRAND. NEW. TEAM. This team is going to be building out automated ways for us to monitor, model and react to customer behavior. We already have a pretty big backlog for this team so there is lots to do! If you are a #Java and/or #dotnet#engineer who would like to come and work with the largest online #sports#betting and gaming company not only in the US, but in the world, check out the links to these new open roles below. Senior Software Engineer : https://lnkd.in/gGCkQfrQ Software Engineer : https://lnkd.in/gdZfZV65 P.S. Recruiters, we got this, no need to reach out. #fanduel#flutter#software#engineer

- Report this post Focus on the positive, go where the love is, be kind to yourself… I am beyond grateful to be surrounded by people who remind me of at least one of those things every day. Even with (what feels like a deluge of) “unfortunately…” email responses from jobs I’ve applied to, I do my best to listen. I know for sure that leaning into hope takes just as much energy as leaning into fear. So, today, I choose to start the week with hope. I wish that for all those navigating their job search. Here’s a handful of roles I’ve applied to today that may also be a good fit for you: Senior Frontend Engineer - Remote - Sweet https://shorturl.at/bqQZ2 Frontend Developer - Remote - Tenerity https://shorturl.at/jpqJ2 Frontend Engineer - Remote -Lightdash https://shorturl.at/djQR5 Frontend Engineer - Los Angeles - Hadrian https://shorturl.at/ekTX6#jobsearch#grateful#layoffs2023#developer 1 Like Comment Share

- Report this post We are hiring a full-stack software engineer. Here is a no-bullshit write up of what we do, what we believe in, how we work and what we work with: https://gtm.sale/hiring What we do: GodmodeHQ is the go-to-market operating system. We are building a sales and marketing enablement software that allows teams to find leads with AI, manage relationships on Linkedin and email in a single inbox and organise their media marketing. 1️⃣ What we believe in: - Hold bold ideas weakly - Optimism shapes reality - Obsession beats talent every time - Companies lose their soul when they exceed 15 people 2️⃣ How we work: - We work remotely. Ideally we would like to get more revenue to get into an office together. - We are in European timezone - UK, Germany etc - We keep the team small, 4-5 people. We hate layoffs. We hire only when it hurts. - We are customer requests and feedback obsessed with always a twist from our own creativity. 3️⃣ What you will work with: - Work with Python Like Comment Share

- Report this post UPDATE We hired a Founding Frontend engineer! Thank you for amplifying this opportunity – it achieved 120,000 impressions from LinkedIn users. For those who reached out asking, “What is Fern (YC W23)?” Answer: Fern is a software developer tool that makes it easier to consume APIs. APIs are the messengers between modern software systems that carry information back and forth. For example, Stripe is known for having a user-friendly API because (1) it has great documentation, (2) pre-written code (SDKs) in popular programming languages, and (3) it has helpful error messages. Fern brings these benefits to any company’s API – just ask our customers, such as: Webflow, Flatfile, Merge, Cohere, and Courier! Danny Sheridan Customer Success at Fern | SDKs and Docs for your API 7mo Edited Introduce me to a candidate we hire and get a $2k referral bonus. — My team at Fern (YC W23) is hiring a Founding Frontend Engineer (TypeScript, React) in New York City. You’ll have a teammate who will take care of the backend. - $130-160k salary + 0.5-1.0% equity - Work with your team in person (not a remote opportunity) - Have 3+ years of frontend software development experience https://lnkd.in/eEnU-6MV 108 7 Comments Like Comment Share

- Suzana Bogojevic Creative Problem Solver | Software Engineer | iOS Developer: Creating Intuitive Mobile Applications with a Focus on User Experience 10mo Edited
- Report this post As an experienced Software Developer, I wanted to share some thoughts with those new to #softwaredevelopment. 👩🏽💻 These times might be challenging for entering the tech field due to a slight freeze in hiring and many layoffs, but it’s only temporary. When I first started I chose iOS Development. There were very few opportunities for a junior iOS Developer in my city, and relocation was not my first choice. Despite the challenges, I remained determined and didn’t want to change my development field. I focused on learning and searching for opportunities because I knew they wouldn’t come easily, especially for someone who is just starting. Most companies were looking for experienced developers, so I had to make some compromises and began working in some companies. While it wasn’t a bad start from a technical perspective, I wasn’t satisfied with the environment. Over the years, I’ve learned what I won’t tolerate anymore and where I wouldn’t want to participate. It’s important to recognize that not everyone has the same starting point – some may begin with an excellent company, while others may face more challenging situations. Regardless of the starting point, constant learning of technical skills, soft skills, and self-development is crucial as everything adds up to personal and professional growth. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you’re stuck with something; seeking assistance is a natural part of learning. Also, remember to take breaks and avoid burnout. Prioritizing mental health will make you a better developer and also enhance your overall well-being. Lastly, don’t forget to have fun throughout the process as well! Enjoying what you do contributes to a more fulfilling career journey. ⭐️ #productdock#it#itcompany#lifeatproductdock#pdcrew
